Living in one of the fattest cities on the planet, most Philadelphians have no concept of going to bed hungry.

When You Gonna Learn­—a collaborative effort from Cover Your Lover’s Deesha Dyer, Freshout Media and 215HipHop.com—aims to school the public on what a drag it is to hit the sack with an empty belly.

Expect dope beats and thick grooves from DJs Skeme Richards and Phsh, accompanied by some pop-lockin’ and B-boy moves from the local crews that follow Skeme like he’s the pied piper of breakbeats.

Nzinga Arts Collective presents a six-woman dance ensemble of a different sort, and John F. and Skrybe capture the essence of the event through live artistic renderings.

All proceeds are split between Philabundance and Manna, so just cough it up.
