Declassified

In light of the upheavals that have shaken the local concert-promotion circuit over the past year, it's refreshing to discover that a dedicated few remain who still actually give a damn about independent shows.

Gamma Ray Productions, the love child spawned by local rabblerousers Sean Adamz and Gina Fantozzi, has been hovering just below the radar, sticking to their deceptively simple motto--"Making Rock Shows Happen"--for about a year.

Running with the success they've encountered in our notoriously tough-to-please market, the Gamma Ray crew is taking its show on the road--with stops planned in Pittsburgh and Gotham--but not before treating the motherland to a bon voyage blowout.

Sunday's Declassified party will likely be devoid of documents detailing precise whereabouts of WMDs, but it does promise copious doses of comedy courtesy of MCs Lunchmoney, DJ trickery from Robotrake and heaping helpings of rock and/or roll provided by openers Chamomile and the Adamz-fronted headlining trio of miscreants otherwise known as Psy-Ops. Vive l'independence! (Joshua Valocchi)
