Despite appearances to the contrary, Old City hasn't yet seceded to New Jersey. Though the weekend crowd comes stacked and packed with high hair and oh-so-adorable accents, the laws of the Garden State--specifically the most recent exercise in inanity that resulted in the banning of ladies' nights at bars--still reside east of the Delaware River. Good thing, too--especially for the Illatropolis Crew, who let the honeys slide rent-free at the gate at their monthly Payday throwdowns.

"We'd like it to be more about having bangin' music as the soundtrack to your night of meeting and drinking and shakin' your shit--which is why we let the women in free all night," says Payday co-founder Adam 12.

This month's installment features resident DJ Cru Cut spinning classic hip-hop jawns as well as a special performance from South Jersey MC/DJ duo Arz Nova.

So come out and drop some of your hard-earned lettuce in the name of booty-emancipating beats. Just know that the first sucka heard bitchin' at the door about gender equality will get a Jersey Fresh boot up his ass. (Joshua Valocchi)
